Meeting Place

We are currently meeting the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at Collin County Community College at the Spring Creek Campus in room i202.

Unfortunately the buildings are not well marked.  Please enter at the Student Center entrance and ask the very helpful information desk directions to the room on the second floor.

Welcome...

to the Dallas Spondylitis Association of America Support Group.  Spondylitis is a chronic, degerative auto-immune disease that has no cure.  There are many different symptoms of the disease that are ambiguous and confusing.  Because of this unfortunately most of us will go at least 10 to 20 years before we get the proper diagnosis.  The process of achieving a proper diagnosis can be frustrating, emotionally draining and isolating.  Most of us feel relief and justified when we finally have a name for the pain that we feel.

The Dallas Spondylitis Association of America Support Group meetings are a time to finally feel normal among a group of friends that share a similar story.  A place where everyone truly understands what Spondylitis means.  We share our experiences, our medications, our doctors, our trials and our triumphs.

We discuss every aspect of the disease from symptoms, medications, emotional impact, pain management, exercise, nutrition, alternative therapies, research, current developments and so much more.

We hope that you will come and join us.  It is a very low pressure discussion group so you can share all the details or just come to listen with no obligation.
